Normally your pet will be transported via air freight and if your pet arrives to destination before you do, the company will hold and take care of your pet until you arrive.
If your move involves flying, almost all airlines allow you to take a pet with you. There will be an additional charge for shipping a pet in cargo area of the plane. You need to contact airlines for instructions and requirements before you take your pet on the plane.
